The Prehistoric Experience
Dinosaur Park is a genuine fossil site containing remains from the Early Cretaceous period. Visitors can search for and uncover real fossils, including those of Astrodon johnstoni, the state dinosaur of Maryland. The park provides a rare opportunity for the public to participate in paleontological discovery.
Hours: The fossil site is open to the public on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of each month from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM. The garden and play area are open daily from sunrise to sunset.
