Wander through lush nature trails and come face-to-face with magnificent, life-sized dinosaurs on the outdoor Dinosaur Trail. It’s an unforgettable adventure for the whole family, blending the beauty of Mississippi’s natural environment with the awe-inspiring world of dinosaurs.
The Prehistoric Experience
The museum features a permanent outdoor exhibit called the “Dinosaur Trail.” This trail includes eight large-scale, scientifically accurate 3-D models of dinosaurs, such as the Tyrannosaurus Rex, Triceratops, Chasmosaurus, Nodosaurus, Appalachiosaurus, and an Eotrachodon with a nest and babies.
Hours: Monday – Friday: 8 a.m. – 5 p.m., Saturday: 9 a.m. – 5 p.m., Sunday: 1 p.m. – 5 p.m.
