Jurassic Putt

Challenge your family to a prehistoric putting adventure on the Outer Banks! Roam among giant, Jurassic-period dinosaurs as you navigate two exciting 18-hole miniature golf courses. With waterfalls, lush landscapes, and fearsome dinos guarding the greens, it’s a roaring good time for everyone.

The Prehistoric Experience

This is a dinosaur-themed miniature golf course. Players putt their way past large, sculpted dinosaurs, including a T-Rex and Raptors, which serve as the primary visual and thematic elements of the attraction.

Jurassic Quest

Get ready for a dinosaur adventure of epic proportions as Jurassic Quest, the nation’s largest and most realistic dinosaur experience, migrates to Raleigh! The Prehistoric Experience

A traveling exhibition featuring over 165 million years of dinosaur history. The event includes life-size animatronic dinosaurs, dinosaur-themed rides, live shows, interactive science and art activities, a “Triceratots” soft play area, and a fossil dig.

Museum of Life and Science

Step into a world of endless discovery and hands-on fun, both indoors and out! Explore a sprawling 84-acre campus featuring a magnificent butterfly house, a zoo with rescued animals, and interactive science exhibits that promise a full day of adventure and learning for the entire family.

The Prehistoric Experience

Travel back to the Late Cretaceous period on the outdoor Dinosaur Trail, where you can wander among more than a dozen life-sized, scientifically accurate dinosaur models. Young paleontologists can also dig for real marine fossils, including shark teeth, in the expansive Fossil Dig site.

North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences

The museum is home to the breathtaking “Dueling Dinosaurs” exhibit, showcasing the complete, interlocked skeletons of a tyrannosaur and a Triceratops. Visitors can also explore the “Prehistoric North Carolina” exhibit, which features the world’s only displayed skeleton of an Acrocanthosaurus.

Paleo Putt-Putt at Doc’s Rocks Gem Mine

The Schiele Museum of Natural History

The Prehistoric Experience

The museum features various dinosaur exhibits, including towering fossil casts and engaging displays. The upcoming Elizabeth Williams Robinson Hall of Dinosaurs, set to be the largest in the Carolinas, will feature full-bodied skeletons of T. rex, Triceratops, and an 80-foot Apatosaurus.

Washington Park
